Riverland releases items up for auction for school’s gala

With the Riverland Community College Gala only three weeks away, organizers of the silent auction want to inform the community of the items that will be for sale that evening.
The gala will be from 7 p.m. to midnight Sept. 26 at Albert Lea’s Northbridge Mall. Tickets are $75 per person, and money raised will go to support scholarships for students.
“The list is pretty unbelievable what people are giving,” said Susie Petersen, one of the organizers. “It’s pretty generous. It goes to tell you what they think of Riverland and how important it is for the region and our community.”
