Stanley Edmund Warren Falch, 90, passed away on Sept. 16, 2015, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, Minnesota.

Stanley was born on July 1, 1925, the son of Dilert and Clara (Evenson) Falch in Vernon Township, Dodge County, Minnesota. He attended country school through eighth grade. Stan worked on the family farm until he began working at Hormel in 1951. On June 19, 1948, he married Marion Lorraine Kruger at the Presbyterian Church in Hayfield. In 1982, he retired and enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, and everything outdoors, including motorcycling and snowmobiling. In his later years he enjoyed visiting the casinos.

Stan is survived by his wife, Marion, Brownsdale, Minnesota; son, Michael “Mike” Falch, Austin, Minnesota; daughter, Jeanne (Richard) Felber, Red Wing, Minnesota; grandchildren: Rod Felber, Phil Felber, Teresa (Virgil) Stoskopf, Dan Felber; great-grandchildren, Ella Stoskopf, Jack Felber; and sister, Elina Senjem, Hayfield, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Laila Halverson, Delia Apold, Frances Gasman; and brother, Leland Falch.

The memorial service for Stanley Falch will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield, Minnesota, with Pastor Greg Gasman officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
