A woman is missing her purse, credit cards, Social Security cards and an undisclosed amount of cash after her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle in Austin Tuesday.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said the woman left her purse in her car at the 200 block of Second Street Southwest shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday. She didn’t notice she was missing her purse until about 11 p.m., but couldn’t find it inside the car or with a nearby neighbor she had visited earlier.

The purse is described as a blue square shoulder purse. There are no suspects at this time.
