Veteran Arnold Earl and Mayor Tom Stiehm pose for a photo during Stiehm’s proclamation of Sept. 18 as Forget-Me-Not Day. Friday is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. Local veterans will be out at several locations selling blue forget-me-nots in honor of disabled and MIA veterans. The money will stay local to support veterans programs.
