DeVonne Eunice Ulwelling, 65, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at her home in Austin.

She was born Sept. 7, 1950, in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, to Harold and Eunice (Ferrington) Gross. She grew up in Blooming Prairie, where she graduated from high school.

On Sept. 9, 1972, she married David Ulwelling in Austin. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Radiology. She worked at the Austin Medical Center as a Radiology Tech for more than 30 years, retiring in 2009.

DeVonne was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Austin. She enjoyed time with her family and friends, bird watching, and travelling, especially to Australia.

Survivors include her husband David; her daughter Kristen Ulwelling, Plymouth; son Ryan (Hollie) Ulwelling, Apple Valley; son Michael Ulwelling, Austin; granddaughters: Avery and Harper Ulwelling, Apple Valley; brother and sister-in-law, Dwayne and Dawn Gross, Blooming Prairie; nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; grandson, Easton.

Visitation will take place one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. A service will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Brian Krueger officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
