Irma “Peggy” Wradislavsky, 74, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie.

She was born April 16, 1941, in Poland, the daughter of Ludwig and Berta Fibich. During WWII, Irma moved with her family to Germany, where she attended school and later worked as a cocktail waitress. On Feb. 11, 1969, Irma married David V. Wradislavsky in Germany. The couple moved to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in 1970, and then lived in Germany again from 1971-1974 before moving to Colorado, where she worked as a waitress for three years. In 1977, Irma and David returned to Germany, where they lived until moving to Fort Bliss, Texas, and then to Blooming Prairie in 1985. She continued her waitressing career at The Place in Blooming Prairie which she and David later owned. One of Irma’s favorite pastimes was working in her flower garden.

Irma is survived by her husband David Wradislavsky of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota; her children: Martina Kramer of Faribault, Minnesota, Angela (Randy) Laskewitz of Austin, Minnesota, David “Butch” (Nola) Wradislavsky of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, and Daren Wradislavsky of Owatonna, Minnesota; four grandchildren: Christopher (Kurstin) Laskewitz, Stephanie Laskewitz, Leighton Wradislavsky and Garrett Wradislavsky; one great-grandchild, Brady Laskewitz; and her sister Edith Riedl of Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and two sons: Howard and Michael.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie with Pastor Heidi Heimgartner officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Blooming Prairie City Cemetery. Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
