The Lyle-Pacelli football team started off slow, but it was still able to finish off its regular season on a high note as it beat Alden-Conger (1-7 overall) 44-14 in Alden Friday.

The Knights scored the first 14 points of the game, but LP (2-6 overall) recovered and took over the contest on the ground. Daniel Bollingberg ran for 258 yards and four TDs for LP.

“It was a good game,” LP head coach Jeremy Wilson said. “They came out flat, but we came back and I think we’ll have a positive attitude headed into the playoffs. It was a good effort.”
