At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, The Hormel Institute will give a presentation at the Mower County Senior Center.
Come learn about world-renowned cancer research that takes place right here in Austin. Mandie Siems, communications associate, will talk about the great work and discoveries that happen every day at The Hormel Institute.
Attendees will learn about The Hormel Institute’s 70-year history, the technology housed at The Institute, and get an inside look at pictures of the building’s current expansion construction. We look forward to seeing you here.
Please stop by the front desk or call 507-433-2370 to sign up for this great presentation.
Farmers market, flu shots
Just a reminder Monday and Wednesday this week the farmers market will be at the center selling items from their fall harvest. Fresh and local are always the best.
And Friday we are hosting annual flu shots. Please bring your medical cards so they can bill your insurance companies.
Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents. Tuesday we are having chow mein hotdish for only $2.
