Now that our first big trip of the holidays is behind us, our thoughts turn to Christmas.

There are many events planned, and our Christmas trip will be a tour in Omaha, Nebraska, Dec. 3-5.

There is a schedule change which we want to make note of.

We will be loading at 6:30 a.m. Thursday with departure at 7 a.m. We will give you a luggage tag if you have not received one. Our return time will about 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.

This will be our third visit to Omaha and we are looking forward to a full schedule of Christmas activities. They have a lot planned in their city with plenty of ethnic activities.

•Dec. 16: A trip to The Old Log Theatre for their newest show, “The Wedding Singer.” This show is based on the hit Adam Sandler movie of the same name. Lets just say its the most romantic musical in 20 years.

This musical comedy will also bring you back to the time when hair was big, collars were up, and the wedding singer just might have been the coolest guy in the room. Reviews are coming in with high ratings.

We are anxious to revisit the Old Log as they have completed a whole new look with the restaurant, and especially the theater. They have updated the sound, lighting, and added music to many of their productions. This trip is due this week, but we do have a few openings and a quick call will add you to our list.

You will also choose your meal at that time. Departure time will be 9 a.m. from the Walmart parking lot.
