Ronald R. Perleberg, 72, of rural Glenville, Minnesota, died at his home on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015.

Ronald Ray Perleberg was born July 21, 1943, in rural Freeborn County, the son of Harlan and Mabel (Broitzman) Perleberg. He attended rural school and graduated from Glenville High School. He served in the U.S. Army. Ron married Sandra Persinger and they had three children. He farmed in the Glenville /London area for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Elaine SIckels.

Ron is survived by a son, Scott Perleberg, Bayport, Minnesota; daughters and son-in-law: Tamara and Stephen Blum, Austin, Minnesota, Tracy Cook, Franklin, Minnesota; grandchildren: Jessica Fuller, Rochelle Perleberg, Jordan Perleberg, Ashley Furnish, Joshua Blum, Wyatt Blum, Heather Rood, Jon Waalkens, Nicole Cook and Zackary Cook; great-grandchildren: David, Tiana, Hayley, Daylon, Vivianne and Alivia Fuller, Bentley and Aubrionna Rood; sisters: Donna Edworthy and Janice Slaughter; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at the Living Bible Church, 301 Fourth Street SW in Austin, with Pastor Paul Juntunen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, rural Myrtle, Minnesota. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
