Shrine installs officers for 2016

At a recent meeting, officers for the Austin Shrine Club and Oriental Band were installed for 2016, by representatives from the Osman Shrine Center in St. Paul. In addition to the Installation, annual donations were presented, and included approximately $5,000 to: Shrine Hospital for Children, Shrine Hospital Auxiliary, Shrine Hospital Travel Fund (transport fund for Burn Victims), KSMQ-TV, Salvation Army, and Austin Masonic Lodge Scholarship Fund. Funds for these donations were raised at various activities including parades and promotion of the Osman Shrine Circus held in April of each year.
