Stop by the senior center and make rosettes
Published 7:01 am Sunday, December 13, 2015
Remember how melt in your mouth good the rosettes your mom used to make were?
At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, we will be having a fun rosette making class. This will be a hands on class where you get involved and make your own to take home.
The class and samples are free but if you would like to take some home there will be a $5 fee for each half dozen. To sign up for this class, stop by or call the front desk at 507-433-2370.
Historical society presentation
At 2 p.m. on Thursday the Mower County Historical Society is discussing “The History of Propaganda.”
This presentation will discuss the ways in which governments have sought to manipulate or control public perception of events throughout history, and how visual evidence has often been altered or edited to present a particular message. From ancient times to the present, what people saw and heard was not always what really was.
