Tyler “Ty” Anthony Berg, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 23, 2015, in Monticello, Minnesota.
He was born March 19, 1991, to Ric Berg and Jodi Greenman in St. Paul, Minnesota, and moved to Austin, Minnesota, soon after. He graduated from Austin High School and was signed up and prepared to attend St. Cloud State University in the spring, focusing on computer science. Growing up, Tyler was quickly known for his energetic and charismatic personality. Those who knew Tyler instantly liked him. His personality gained him many friends, something he cherished until his final days. He enjoyed golf, fishing, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. Tyler’s greatest passion and love was his daughter, Noelle.
He is survived by his parents, Ric and Toni Berg of Austin, and Jodi Greenman; daughter, Noelle; sister, Allissa (Tony) Delhanty; brother, Jace Greenman; step-sister, Jessi Kominek; step-brother, Cody Kominek; grandparents: Kathy Tibesar, and Dan and Pat Tibesar; nephews: Tayte, Quinn, Max; nieces: Kaycee, Jaylynne, Nala, Chloe; cousins; and many wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma Berg; niece Isabel; uncle Greg; and aunt Kathy.
A memorial mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at St. Augustine’s Church, in Austin, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church.
