“They’re a good team. They’re a different caliber team than we’re used to playing,” Austin head coach Brett Vesel said. “I thought we played extremely hard and I thought our effort was outstanding. It was the kind of effort that we need to beat the teams in our section. I thought it was a great game for us to understand the tempo we need to play at.”

The Packers, who have lost three straight games, now have two more games left in the regular season, before they begin the playoffs next week.

“I feel really good about our effort. We just need to start putting the puck in the net a little more,” he said.
