Christopher Jones, 40, of Cambridge, Minnesota, passed away on Jan. 8, 2016.

Chris grew up in Austin, Minnesota, and lived in many places throughout his lifetime. The last place he resided was in Cambridge, Minnesota. He loved his time at Changing Gaits and being with the horses. He loved spending time with his kids, but unfortunately towards the end his addictions took a hold of him. Chris was married to Katelyn Jones on Jan. 24, 2014. He really enjoyed his roofing and flooring jobs, but his favorite was working with the horses. Chris was in and out of treatments most of his life, struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism, but the happiest time of his life was when he was sober at Changing Gaits. Regardless of that, Chris had a heart of gold and always meant to do good and loved everyone. He was a mighty man of God and is now resting in his hands.

He was preceded in death by grandmother Florence Hatleli.

Chris is survived by his wife Katelyn Jones; sons: Ridyk Jones, Ryker Keezer; daughters: Elena Jones, Linnea Jones, Angeline Pfuhl; his mom Linnea Sanchez and Carlos Sanchez her husband; his father David Shaugobay; sister Theresa Sanchez; brothers: Dustin (Heather) Sommers, Adam (Jenna) Sanchez; five nephews and four nieces.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Austin, Minnesota, 704 10th St. N.E., Austin, and on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at 4 p.m. at Changing Gaits in Brook Park, Minnesota. Arrangements by Dresser-Methven Funeral Home, Mora, Minnesota, www.methvenfuneralhome.com.
