The area could see some slick road conditions this afternoon and evening.

The National Weather Service warned a blend of a half-inch of snow this afternoon and evening along with gusty winds could affect road conditions. A couple inches of snow was possible north of Interstate 94. Winds of 16 to 21 mph are expected along with 29 mph gusts.

The weather service is also watching systems that could bring a wintry mix to the area Friday afternoon and then rain and snow Saturday night through Sunday night. Another system could bring accumulating snow to the area early next week, but it’s too early to tell.
