Jean Temanson, 90, of Dexter, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at the Grand Meadow Healthcare Center in Grand Meadow, Minnesota.
Jean Resa Nicol was born Nov. 5, 1925, in Dexter, Minnesota, to Leslie Nicol and Resa Lee. She attended grade school in Dexter and was a graduate from Elkton High School in Elkton, Minnesota. Jean worked at Hormel in Austin, Minnesota, in various departments throughout her working career. Jean was known for her delicious homemade meals with vegetables from her vegetable garden and baked goods, such as her bread and cookies. Dancing, fishing, snowmobiling, canning and freezing, crocheting, knitting, and sewing were some of Jean’s enjoyments. She was a member of a bowling league and card clubs, playing 500 and Bridge.
Jean is survived by many friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Resa and Al Rabine; and her father, Leslie Nicol.
Jean wanted to thank the Grand Meadow Health Care Center and Seasons Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
There will be no services for Jean Temanson at this time. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the Dexter United Methodist Church, Dexter, Minnesota. Condolences may be left online at www.hindtfuneralhomes.com.
