Mower County Senior Travel is hosting our Annual Minnesota Coffee Party/ Travel Show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26. Join us at the Mower County Senior Center, 400 Third Ave. NE.

We all agree that after the cold February, we are ready to get out of hibernation and come and enjoy some fellowship. You can also sign up for door prizes. Memberships to the Mower County Senior Center will be available to receive their monthly newsletter along with travel discounts.

Our travel schedule calendar with trips set up for 2016, with many destinations, will be available. This will be a fun year as we host a variety of popular shows, educational visits, boat cruises, and much more. We have booked several popular theater shows, including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Wizard of Oz,” “The Million Dollar Quartet” and the Broadway production of “The Lion King” (my favorite show ever).

Extended trips will include a four-night trip to Branson, Missouri, which will include some new destinations and shows such as “Moses” and “Danny O’Donald.” “Danny” is only appearing in Branson for three weeks this season.

Our longer trip will be to Albuquerque, New Mexico, highlighting the balloon fest.

The travel office will reopen starting Feb. 26. Hope to see you there. This is open to the public and you do not need to be a member to come for the party and we welcome you to join us as we travel.
