The Evenson family brought minions to Austin during Paint the Town Pink. While she was growing up, Liz Evenson would build snow creations with her family on their front yard on Fourth Avenue Southeast. Now that the kids are all grown and out of the house, her dad has been wanting to get the family together to build snow minions around town, just for fun, to see the smile it puts on people’s faces. With gorgeous, warm weather on Jan 31, Liz called her dad and asked him to come build in the snow with her and her son, Ayden. He brought up the minion idea again, but this time they decided to do it for PTTP week, and the family built several minions around town. “It was a lot of fun and hearing all the positive feedback makes it just that much more awesome,” Liz wrote in an email to the Herald.
