Hy-Vee managers share ideas at Institute

About 80 Hy-Vee food store general managers met at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota earlier this week to collaborate and share store ideas and information. Senior Vice President Nate Stewart of Des Moines also received a tour of The Hormel Institute and its world-class laboratories and learned of The Hormel Institute’s research of nontoxic anticancer compounds found in foods that play a role in preventing and controlling cancer. Hy-Vee operates more than 230 retail stores in eight Midwestern states, including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Photo provided
