MINNEAPOLIS The Animal Humane Society says agents have taken 95 dogs from a Minnesota couple that was apparently hoarding them in unsanitary conditions.
The agency says the dogs were kept at three locations — in Maplewood, Stacy and Sandstone. The Humane Society is helping Maplewood police build a criminal case against the husband and wife.
Humane Society agent Wade Hanson tells the Star Tribune it seems the couple had a breeding business, but one of the owners had a hard time selling the animals.
