HECTOR — A 75-year-old Austin man died in a one-vehicle rollover accident reported at 1:22 p.m. Sunday on Renville County Road 4, about 7 miles southwest of Hector in Palmyra Township, which is about 27 miles southwest of Hutchinson.

Victor N. Augustin was driving a Chevy Trailblazer east when he entered the north ditch, hit a field approach and overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the crash.

The sheriff’s office was assisted on scene by Hector Ambulance, the Hector Fire Department and Minnesota State Patrol.
