They came, they saw beards, they sipped beers. More than 200 people attended the second Brew, Beards and B.S. at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center on Saturday. The event featured a craft beer and bacon tasting, a beard contest and a performance by Minneapolis band 4onthefloor. Bahas Brew Labs won best brewery and best representative in the crowd vote, while Fulton Brewery’s Lonely Blonde won the tap takeover at Torge’s Sports Bar. Organizer Ben Ankeny said it’s likely the event will return for a third year in 2017.
