MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis man has pleaded guilty in the shooting death of another man outside a Minneapolis church.
Jontrel Bolden pleaded guilty Tuesday to manslaughter and being a felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the Oct. 14 fatal shooting of 19-year-old Elija Larkin outside New Bethel Baptist Church.
Authorities say the two men got off different buses at the same bus stop and got into an argument. A criminal complaint says surveillance video shows Bolden fire multiple shots at Larkin. Police say Larkin collapsed inside the church.
Bolden is set to be sentenced Monday.
