Mower County to crown dairy princess April 2; Tickets available through March 26

The 63rd Mower County Dairy Princess will be crowned at the annual banquet on April 2 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Adams.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the dairy social time. The banquet meal will be served at 7 p.m.
The 2016 Mower County Dairy Princess Candidates are Rachel Kloeckner, daughter of John and Barb Kloeckner, Adams, sponsored by Four Way Dairy, Inc.; Cassidy Reinartz, daughter of Steve and Darcey Reinartz, Adams, sponsored by Northern Country Coop; Abby Rossow, daughter of Mike and Vicki Rossow of Dexter, sponsored by Mayer Milk Hauling; and Stephanie Sukalski, daughter of Troy and Chris Sukalski, of LeRoy, sponsored by Land O’ Lakes.
The top three candidates will be eligible to compete at the state contest in May where 12 finalists for the title of Princess Kay of the Milky Way will be chosen.
McKinzie Smith, 2015 Mower County Dairy Princess and finalist for Princess Kay of the Milky Way, will have her “butterhead” on display and will give a retiring address. The banquet will again include the traditional scholarship auction, silent scholarship auction and numerous door prizes.
