Predatory offender moving to Austin

A level-three predatory offender will be released after serving his sentence and is moving to the 1800 block of Second Avenue Southeast in Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.

Michael John Nord, 37, will move to Austin on Saturday. He has a history of predatory conduct and contact with adult female victims, including putting a substance in victims’ drinks to facilitate sexual assault, according to the police department.

Nord knew his victims, but his relationships to those victims is unclear. He also adulterated four other victims’ drinks.

Nord is 6-foot-3 with brown hair and blue eyes. He weighs about 215 pounds with a large build and a fair complexion.

Nord is not wanted by police and has served his sentence. The public can get copies of the release at the law enforcement center.
