ST. PAUL (AP) — St. Paul police say more resources will be dedicating to combating gun violence after nine people were shot in the city during a four-day span, including two fatally.
Police spokesman Steve Linders says the department is increasing patrols in areas where shootings have happened more frequently. The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Linders says the department is also creating a response team to more intensely investigate every report of gunfire, even if no one was injured.
