The Austin Public Schools Board is scheduled to vote to approve an amended 2015-16 budget at its regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the City Council Chambers. After legislative changes, the amount per student increased 2 percent. The budget also changed due to three added teacher positions.

The board will also discuss changes to the 2016-17 Elementary Parent Handbook, and request approval of revised policy No. 604 — Instructional Curriculum.
