The Izaak Walton League will host a Windsor chop fundraiser on at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Izaak Walton Cabin at Austin’s Todd Park.
This is the first Windsor Chop fundraiser by Austin Chapter 10.
The menu will feature a 12-ounce Windsor chop, baked potato, coleslaw, bun, and fresh veggies.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $12 and are available at the door.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to provide scholarships to area youth to attend summer camps at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center near Lanesboro. Eagle Bluff summer camps give students the opportunity to learn about nature and develop outdoor skills such as canoing, fishing, and camping.
This is the 11th year Austin Chapter 10 has provided scholarships to Eagle Bluff.
Austin Chapter 10 of the Izaak Walton League is a non-profit conservation organization whose mission is to conserve, maintain, protect, and restore all soil, waters, wildlife, and other natural resources.
