Late Minot goal sinks Bruins 3-2

Minot’s Derek Frentz’s goal early in the third was enough to tip Friday night’s 3-2 in their way against the Austin Bruins.
Frentz scored at the 2:46 mark of the final period, breaking 2-2 tie in a game that already saw one Bruins’ come back.
Minot scored a pair of goals in the first period, giving them a 2-0 lead going into the second period. Austin erased that lead with two goals of their own from Austin Rueschhoff and Evan Cholak, just 43 seconds apart.
Austin goalie Kristofer Carlson faced 35 shots.
