LeRoy man injured in crash

A LeRoy resident was injured in a head-on crash early Wednesday on Highway 14 west of Rochester.
Keythe Dietrich, 27, of LeRoy was driving his 2004 Ford Taurus westbound on Highway 14 at about 5:07 a.m. and fell asleep at the wheel according to the Minnesota State Patrol. His car drove through the median and into an eastbound 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by Catherine Trom, 49, of Byron. The cars struck head on.
Dietrich suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Marys in Rochester. Trom had no apparent injury. Both cars suffered total damage. Road conditions were dry.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
