Mary Elizabeth Reimann, 91, of Brownsdale, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at St. Mark’s Living in Austin, Minnesota.

Mary was born on Oct. 23, 1924, the daughter of James and Bridget (Gaffney) Dowling in Lake City, Iowa. She married Clayton Reynolds and they later divorced. On Nov. 1, 1966, she married Arnold Reimann in Austin, Minnesota. Mary was a homemaker, farmer’s wife and restaurant owner. She was a member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church; CCW; Catholic Daughters; and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower arranging, sewing, canning, embroidery work and quilting.

Mary is survived by her children, Rosalyn (Arvid) Tollefson, Leesburg, Florida, Annette (Larry) Ludwig, Hernando, Florida, Mary Jo Myer, Dodge Center, Minnesota, Janice Thompson, Randolph, Minnesota, James (Elaine) Reynolds, Spring Hill, Florida, Patricia (Jimmy Kellner) Bergerson, Holder, Florida, Shirley (Linn) Thoen, Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Bridget (Gene) Tapp, Brownsdale, Minnesota; 21 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of her children, Clayton Reynolds; husband, Arnold; siblings, Louis, Eileen, Joseph, Julia, Charles, and twin brother, Mark; sons-in-law, LaVern Rollins, Jerry Thompson, and Frank Myer.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, 404 West Main Street in Brownsdale with Father Dale Tupper celebrating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Brownsdale Minnesota. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
