MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Authorities say the drivers of a dozen high-end sports cars were cited for reckless driving after being clocked at more than 110 mph in the western Twin Cities.
The cars were zooming west on Interstate 394 Saturday.
State Patrol Lt. Tiffani Nielson says a trooper stopped seven of the elite cars as they doubled back and headed east on Highway 12. But Nielson says five others allegedly took “evasion” action and sped away.
The drivers of those five vehicles were later cited when they stopped at a gas station in Maple Plain.
