Dancers close out season at Eclipse Dance Competition; Recital is June 5 at AHS

Bridget’s Dance Conservatory recently competed in Eclipse Dance Competition located in Brooklyn Park. It was the its last dance competition of the season.
Over the weekend Bridget’s Dance Conservatory competed with more 25 other studios.
Austin residents still have a chance to see all the dances and dancers in the company’s recital at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, at Austin High School’s Knowlton auditorium.
Bridget’s Dance Conservatory awards at Eclipse Dance Competition
—The Petite Company dancers received a gold award. The junior company tap dancers received high gold award and sixth place overall.
—The junior company jazz dancers received a gold award.
—The senior company jazz dancers received a high gold award and fifth place overall.
—The senior company tap dancers received a platinum award and second place overall.
—The “St. Jude” lyrical group won a platinum award and fourth place overall.
—The “Try” lyrical group won a gold award.
—A duet performed by Salma Masood and Kylie Poshusta won a gold award.
—A duet performed by Chase Peterson and Paige Leibeg won a platinum award, second place overall, and a Judge’s choice award.
—Gold awards were a awarded to soloists; Bianca Angell, Rachael Riley, Alex Jovaag, Taylor Johnson, Kylie Poshusta, Paige Leibeg, Carma Sheehan, Tehya Kvam, Madison Halsey.
—High gold awards were awarded to soloists; Salma Masood, Jenna Hetzel, Xinyu Wang, Rachel Danielson, and Madison Klein.
—Platinum awards were awarded to soloists; Madison Klein, and Alyssa Abrego.
—A Platinum elite award was awarded to soloist; Chase Peterson, and also won 1st place overall grand champion.
—The following soloists won top overall scores; Rachel Danielson won ninth place overall, Madison Klein won 12th and sixth place overall, Salma Masood won 13th place overall, Paige Leibeg won 18th place overall, Jenna Hetzel won second place overall, Xinyu Wang won fourth place overall.
