Hayfield baseball team gets a split

The Hayfield baseball team handed Kenyon-Wanamingo its first HVL loss of the season as it split a doubleheader with the Knights in Hayfield Saturday.
The Vikings won the opener 2-1 and lost the nightcap 8-1.
Adam Fjerstad scattered six hits in seven innings to win the first game for Hayfield (9-8 overall).
