An Austin man was shot with a BB gun on Saturday, but was not injured.

At 6:21 p.m., police responded to the 800 block of Second Avenue Southwest to a victim’s report of someone shooting at him with a BB gun.

The victim said he got out of his vehicle and a man across the street started shooting at him with a BB gun, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.

He was hit with a BB bullet, but did not seek medical attention. He said the suspect was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and had a black shirt wrapped around his face and head.

Police checked the area for the suspect with negative results.
