The public is invited to attend an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adams Fire Hall, 816 E. Main St. in Adams to learn about planned Highway 56 bridge replacements that begin in June.
ICON Constructors of Mabel, Minnesota, the prime contractor in the $1.42 million Minnesota Department of Transportation project, which will replace two bridges near the city of Adams on Highway 56 over Little Cedar Creek and an unnamed creek. A detour will be in effect during construction. The project is scheduled to begin June 16.
Representatives from MnDOT and ICON Constructors will provide information about the project, including the timeline, detours and scope of the work.
