2 cited in Friday crash by Hormel Historic Home

Police cited two drivers after a Friday crash at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Second Street Northwest.
A 72-year-old woman driving a 2011 Buick Lucerne failed to yield and crashed into a 1999 Honda CRV driven by a 43-year-old-man, causing the Honda CRV to roll onto its roof.
The 72-year-old woman was cited for failing to yield after she left a stop sign, and the 43-year-old man was cited for driving after revocation, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.
A 27-year-old, who suffered minor cuts from broken glass, and a 5-year-old passenger were passengers in the Honda at the time of the crash.
Gold Cross Ambulance transported the driver of the Honda to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin. Austin Police Department and Austin Fire Department responded to the accident.
