Agnes B. Mullenbach, 82 of Adams, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the Adams Health Care Center.
Agnes Bernadine Mullenbach was born May 11, 1934, to Anthony P and Martha (Goergen/Hueman) Mullenbach in Adams Township, Mower County, Minnesota. She spent her whole life, living and working in the Adams area. Agnes had worked at the Farmers State Bank of Adams, Adams Dental Clinic with Dr. Carl Winkels, the Adams Cooperative Creamery, LaVonne’s Grocery, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart CCW and Catholic Aid.
Agnes enjoyed living on the family farm, raising sheep and chickens with her dog Tricksie and many kittens. Agnes was a kind and loving person always ready to help others at any time and was her parent’s caregiver.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and a grandniece, Sarah Mullenbach.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Betty Mullenbach, LaCrosse, Wisconsin; nephew and wife, Daniel and Cece Mullenbach, Onalaska, Wisconsin, nieces and husbands, Ann and Michael Birka, Arlington, Texas, Carol and Steve McCuen, Banks, Oregon, and Beth and Kia Elgethun, Boise, Idaho; grandnieces and grandnephews, Garret Birka, Grayson Birka, Jasmine Silver, Sierra (Henry) Meeuwsen, Jared Mullenbach, Wyatt McCuen, Daniel McCuen, Freida Elgethun and Tova Elgethun.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Adams, Minnesota, with Father Swaminatha Pothireddy officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. The Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
