ST. PAUL — Gov. Mark Dayton is taking his campaign to bring lawmakers back for a special session on the road.

The Democratic governor was set to visit Worthington and Moorhead Thursday, following stops in Rochester and Mankato on Wednesday. It’s part of a public push to get House Republicans on board with extra funding for construction projects in a potential special session.

Lawmakers didn’t finish that bill before adjourning late last month. Dayton added to the pile of unfinished work by letting a $260 million tax relief bill fail without his signature.
