Six people are in custody after law enforcement executed three search warrants Thursday morning in southwest Austin.

During the search, 80 grams of crack cocaine and 30 grams of heroin were seized on the 800 block of 12th Avenue, 600 block of 10th Avenue and 1000 block of 11th Avenue in southwest Austin, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.

The six people arrested are awaiting various drug charges.

Krueger said Austin Police Department, Mower County Sheriff’s Office, Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team and the Special Incident Response Team all helped in executing search warrants and worked with federal agencies.

The investigation is ongoing.
