Ashley Rye of Austin, Minnesota, and Charles Marquardt of Albert Lea, Minnesota, have announced their wedding.

Ashley is the daughter of Julie and John (Dave) Rye. Her grandparents are Darrell and Karen Bloom of Austin, Minnesota, Verlynn Rye of Ironwood, Michigan, and the late John (Dave) Rye Sr. of Ironwood, Michigan. Ashley graduated from Austin High School in 2011 and Winona State University with a masters in special education. She is currently employed with the Blooming Prairie Elementary School.

Charles is the son of LoriAnne and Michael Marquardt. Grandparents are Alvin Putman Sr. of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Ronald and Carol Marquardt of Dodge Center, Minnesota, and the late Janice Putman of Albert Lea, Minnesota. Charles graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2007 and Riverland Community College in 2013 with a degree in carpentry. He is currently employed with C4 Custom Cabinets in Owatonna, Minnesota.

The couple wed on Saturday, June 18, 2016, and make their home in Blooming Prairie.
