An Austin man has been sentenced to supervised probation for sleeping with and impregnating a teenage minor.

Nathaniel James McKee, 24, of Austin is sentenced to 15 years of supervised probation.

He is convicted of felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13 and 15.

On Feb. 13, 2015, Austin Police Officers received a child protection report regarding a pregnant 16-year-old, according to court records.

The report indicated the victim was impregnated by McKee before her 16th birthday. The victim confirmed she and McKee had sex when she was 15 and that McKee was aware of her age.

McKee admitted to the incident and described the event as “a lapse in judgment.”
