Richard Allen Lunde, 82, of Austin, Minnesota, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.

Richard was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Austin, Minnesota the son of Russell and Leona (Halling) Lunde. He graduated from Austin High School where he had played basketball. A lifelong resident of Austin, Richard was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Everyone that knew Richard, knows that he always had a story to share.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Leona Lunde, and his step mother, Ruth Lunde.

Richard is survived by cousins, Peggy Anderson, Mary Jo Sayles and Ruth French.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with Intern Pastor Lisa Meshke officiating. Interment will be at the Little Cedar Lutheran Cemetery, Adams, Minnesota.

Memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
