The Austin VFW Post 1216 baseball team completed district play with a pair of wins by scores of 10-0 and 7-0 over the Rochester Rockets VFW in Marcusen Park Saturday.

Austin (12-2 District) received a strong pitching performance from Riley Wempner as he held the Rockets to zero runs while scattering two hits over the five-inning game. Holden Londino-Green collected three RBI in the victory while Luke Hawkshead contributed with two hits and a walk.

In game two the trio of Hawkshead, Ross Young, and Hunter Johnson held the Rockets scoreless over seven innings giving up just three hits. Hawkshead struck out seven of the nine batters he faced to earn the victory.

Hunter Guyette picked up three hits in the win, while Nate Murphy and Tony Ciola also contributed two hits each in the win.
