The Hormel Institute received a $9,600 donation Monday from the fourth annual Ryan Gordon Memorial Golf Tournament and Silent Auction that was held June 18 at the Cedar River Golf Course in Adams, Minnesota. Associate Director Dr. Ann Bode accepted the gift on behalf of The Hormel Institute from Ryan’s parents Roger and Shirley Gordon and Ryan’s brother Chad Gordon. To date, the Ryan Gordon Memorial Golf Tournament has raised nearly $25,000 in support for cancer research at The Hormel Institute in Austin. As with any gift to The Hormel Institute, 100 percent of the donation will directly fund cancer research.
