STILLWATER — Police in Stillwater are investigating how a 60-year-old man ended up stabbed to death a block from their station.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports police received a call about a domestic disturbance that possibly involved a knife Friday afternoon at a home about a block from their downtown headquarters. Officers arrived to find the 60-year-old man who lived in the home and a 31-year-old relative severely injured.
Both men were taken to a St. Paul hospital, where the 60-year-old man died. The 31-year-old was in critical condition Friday evening.
Police haven’t released the men’s identities or relationship.
A neighbor said he saw daughter of the man who lived in the house run out of the home Friday screaming that her brother had killed her father.
