4-day eastbound I-90 lane closure begins in Austin for concrete repairs

Eastbound Interstate 90 motorists in Austin will encounter a right lane closure, which started yesterday, as crews repair concrete pavement, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The right lane of I-90 closed through most of Austin as crews conduct repairs to the pavement. The closure stretches from exit 175 at Highway 105/Oakland Avenue West to exit 178A. Work is expected to be completed early Thursday night.
In places, the pavement will be removed and replaced. During the process the lane will have gaps and breaks, which is why traffic will be restricted to a single lane in the eastbound lanes. No restrictions will be placed for westbound traffic.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
