Blue Sox season comes to an end in Burnsville

The Austin Blue Sox had their season come to an end when they lost game three of their opening Section 4 series to the Burnsville Bobcats by a score of 8-2 on the road Tuesday.
The Blue Sox (11-12 overall) trailed 5-2 in the bottom of the eighth when Burnsville hit two homers to put the game away.
Burnsville had 18 hits on Tuesday and it had compiled 20 hits against Austin Monday.
The Blue Sox had some highlights this season, including a season sweep of the Austin Greyhounds and a second place finish in the SpamTown Challenge.
“The season went really well and it’s a good group of guys,” Blue Sox manager Brandon Rector said. “We should have most of the guys back next year.”
