A resident reported a red 2008 Ford Escape was stolen from the 900 block of Eighth Avenue Northwest in Austin Thursday morning.

The victim reported the Escape was stolen between 8:45 p.m. Wednesday and 10:22 a.m. Thursday, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.

The victim said the vehicle, with a license plate of 984-PVG, was locked and neither set of keys was missing.
